If I were faced with an 8-hr round trip commute to see a concert in a distant city, I would certainly call the venue first or log on or call Ticketmaster before leaving to verify there aren't any postponements. I did receive notification from Ticketaster, however the internet is an imperfect method of communicating and I don't totally rely on it alone. Flag as offensive
