It was sometime in the late 70s in Raleigh, NC that I saw you in concert. "Play Me" was always one of my favorite songs. That concert I remember you spoke in a whisper the words, "Come take me..."... wow... I never forgot that, like you were just singing to me. I guess that's the power of music. In the story of your new cd you tell about the process, a sort of 'solitary confinement'. Recently I finished a writing project that took me several years and it was like that for me, your experience I have felt. Thank you so much for the music! You certainly do touch people with it; it must feel amazing...
