Congrats Neil...but album was a disappointment

Of all the singer/songwriters in the world that deserved a #1 album after all this time-Neil Diamond tops them all, but i am sorry to say it had to be with this album. After all the classics he has released, mine being "On The Way To The Sky", Home Before Dark cannot even shine a candle to even his previous masterpiece "12 Songs" where his stripped down acoustics were both catchy and singable. Outside of track #1 on this album, none of the songs until to get to the bonus tracks give you the Neil Diamond feeling or singalong ability you got from his previous clasic albums. Usually i can put a Neil Diamond album down but this one by me will soon be forgotten as i hope the magic returns for his next album.
