I grew up listening to Neil Diamond, my mom used to sing me Song Sung Blue as a "lullaby"....and so it made perfect sense to surprise her with the ultimate mother/daughter adventure.Money was tight, but after saving for a few months it was all set. We flew from Toronto to NYC aug 2008 to see Neil for his aug 14th concert at MSG. The atmosphere was incredible, and he was magical, commanding and FUN. (I can't imagine seeing him anywhere else, the New York audience was electric and gave him a "homecoming" befitting a king). So, i'd like to say thank you Neil!! For your voice and talent, for giving us a night and an experience that we shared and will treasure for a lifetime. It meant the world to us. Flag as offensive
