This Album is a wonderful combination of lyrical geniousness and outstanding guitar technique, from the same producer of johnny cash's American Recordings, "Homebefore Dark" has (in my opinion) the best songs of his career.

Well what can you say? I've got all Neils Albums since the 60's. This is the best ever.
If I Don' See You Again..... the best song since Hell Yeah and I Am...I Said, Great craftsmanship Neil, as always so moving too.
Love the take on Feel My Love, an underrated Dylan song.
Look forward to the next release.

Even though I got this cd just as soon as it came out I have not written a review yet. I must say it is just an amazing cd, with great songs like "pretty amazing grace" "don't go there" and "Forgotten" I was also thrilled with the last song he put on the cd which is a Bob Dylan song, "make You Feel My Love" which is only on the deluxe version, the deluxe version is so worth buying because it comes with a bonus dvd with 4 songs! Thanks again Neil for a great album that went number 1 for you!!
