I were 10 when this one came out.
My older brother bought it.
I borrowed it again and again in the end he gave it to me.
My first encounter with Neil Diamond.
I played it so many times over the years. In the end it were no longer possible to hear it.
Years back I gave away all my old LPs the 16 Neil Diamond records were among them. I wonder is it possible to get them all on CD today? I live in Denmark and I have never seen the old ones here.

This was my first Neil Diamond album. My brother gave it to me for Christmas. A few Christmases later he gave me a ticket to Neil's show at Carolina Coliseum in Columbia, SC. Neil, we now have a larger, newer coliseum in Columbia. Come see us again!

I bought this as a 15 year old back in 75. I think it cost £2.15! I knew some of the songs, such as Cracklin' Rosie and Sweet Caroline, but immediately loved all the others too.
Went to university in 76 and discovered that loads of others liked Neil too. My Dad never understood how I liked music like Yes, Pink Floyd and Status Quo, but also liked Neil too.
Now it's 2008, I'm almost 50 and I think I have almost all of Neil's albums. The new material is just as good as the old, particularly 12 Songs and Home before Dark.
Will this guy never retire? let's hope not.
Thanks, Neil from a lifetime fan in the UK.

I remember buying this album back in the summer of 1977. I played it over and over. I even learned how to play a few songs on my guitar :-)
