There is not a single number on this album that I didn't fall in love with the first time I heard it many, many years ago, especially African Suite. Although his songs are my my favorites, this one stands head and shoulders above any others by him or by any other artist.

I grew up with Neil Diamond songs playing, my Dad was a musician that played his songs on his guitar. I miss my Dad dearly, but listening to Neil always brings him close to me.

I grew up listening to Neil Diamond...he was my mom's favorite. Whenever I'm missing her, I put in this album and I'm instantly back there with her. I remember getting right up next to the speaker and listening to Neil's deep voice on Cracklin Rosie..."oh I love my Rosie child..."
