The first all-penned Diamond Lp put out by Bert Berns' Bang label-and the one that caused a rift between Neil and Berns-Diamond wanted his "Shilo" song released as a 45....Berns said "No!",so Neil waited...then Berns passed away of a massive stroke, and Neil moved to Uni (In 1968)...the label finally released it in 1970.at the same time Neil was releasing "Sweet Caroline",so Neil Re-recorded "Shilo" for a Repackaged "Velvet Gloves & Spit".
