DELIRIOUS LOVE is the 21st Century equivalent to CHERRY, CHERRY from the 20th Century. Awesome song! Please bring it back to your live concerts.

reminds me of my late husband who first got me into Neil Diamond and this song summs up his life, he died at age 42.

Love whole album. I judge a "good" song by if it makes me cry 1st time heard: 4 of these did!
Love this 1 even MORE than Home before Dark. Thanks for so many years of JOY in music!

It's only fair that I update my earlier comments. This albumn is growing on me. Although it's not as upbeat as Home Before Dark, the lyrics have depth to them. The albumn starts off very slowly with Oh,Mary, but ends on a lively note with We. I still rate Home Before Dark above 12 Songs.

I got 12 Songs yesterday. I was hoping it would be another Home Before Dark. Maybe, after I listen to some more, it will grow on me. Delirious Love stands out above the other songs. I wish Saturday Night had more of a pop feel to it than ballard feel. Don't get me wrong. I'm not totally dissing the CD, but I like Neil best when he is ROCKING HARD!

I still have some of my old Diamond albums, but I was really happy to see this in stores. I've got several new favorites to add to my
Neil Diamond Song List
. Terrific effort and can't wait for more!

I wish you made the alternative Captain of the ship the original one to the one on the Disc 1. I also wish you had renamed it 13 songs and add Man Are So Easy to the list. I like the alternative version of Man Are So Easy.

I listen to this most often, between his newest released album, Home Before Dark. This album is truly beautiful and spiritual in my humble opinion. I think Neil and I would agree on many parts about God. "Man of God" is my top fave, (I think... its so hard to choose!) I love "Hell Yeah", its almost like an update to "I am...I said", "Evermore" is heart wrenching and beautiful, and sounds like it means a lot to Neil, himself. "Create Me" sort of reminds me of an update to "Play Me". Rick surely did bring Neil Diamond back to his lyrical roots on this one. The whole album is very much like his Bang records in style, I think... Well I am not a talented musician, but I got some talented ears and know when it sounds good. And this album sounds great!
