'Sweet Caroline' inspires the biggest singalong of the weekendClick here to watch a video of the performance.
Singer/Songwriting legend Neil Diamond overcame technical problems to delight a huge crowd during the Glastonbury afternoon 'veteran' slot on the Pyramid Stage today (June 29).
During 'Done Too Soon', the sound cut out completely, forcing a delay, during which the huge crowd clapped along with the star, and started chanting "Neil! Neil!" before the track came back in, to huge cheers.
Diamond told the crowd early in the set: "We want to our best for you because we want to get invited back here."
The star played a hit-packed set, and two songs from his recent chart-topping album 'Home After Dark', including the title track.
The final four songs - 'Forever In Blue Jeans', 'I'm A Believer', 'America' and closer 'Sweet Caroline' sparked huge singalongs, with the latter's chorus leading to the entire crowd swaying in unison.
