Neil is our hero! We want to move through my life with the love of life and passion he has, and the joy in what he does.
The concert was amazing! At the risk of plagiarizing his own song, ‘starting soft and low, like a small earthquake, and when he let go…..!” , he gave it all.
The arena was filled to capacity with people of all ages....although it definitely tipped to the older 'boomer' generation. After all, "Sweet Caroline" hit the airwaves when we were 16. To see tens of thousands of people on their feet, singing, cheering laughing.....the energy was incredible. The group sing of 'Caroline' was the most fun we’ve had ever at a concert.
The band was incredible, the rendition of "You don't bring me flowers" was touching.....especially since he and Linda Press have been singing together for 30 years.
In the end, you can clearly see that Neil Diamond is a man in love with his craft and his audience. His emotion singing his songs, and his reaction to his audience was genuine.
Given the tough times our country was in, the unbelievable rendition of “America” was encouraging and uplifting.
Keep going forever, Neil, we'll always be there!
