ABOUT ME
I live in New Zealand(Aotearoa) in the beautiful city of sunny Nelson which is at the top of the South Island. I have been married to Barrie for 40 years and have two grown up children and two gorgeous grandkids.All of my working life has been spent working in Adult Mental Health in Administration.I love my job.
Neil Diamond is the best. I just love his songwriting and the way he sings his songs.I have listened to his music since 1971 and the advent of the internet has made so much more of his music accessible to me as when I was younger the budget couldn't afford all his albums but I sure have them all now. I have seen him twice in New Zealand and hope that he will tour again. I have most of his CD's and videos and DVD's and just love Home before Dark.Hard to pick favourite songs but Play Me Holly Holy BLTSS Signs Forever in blue jeans And the grass won't pay no mind and Hell Yeah are just a few..

hi there, well after the disappointment of Ft Lauderdale, I managed to get a job and have now booked to go and see Neil in Portland on 08 Jan. I'm sooooo excited and cannot wait to see him again! I got VIP tickets, so I'll get close to him and can get a good look at that gorgeous face! Any news on him coming your way yet?

Hi there, just wanted to let you know that I got a new job, and the first thing I did was book to go to Portland and see Neil in January! Cannot wait. Am completely in love with him, and can't wait to see him again. It's the last show of the tour, so I'm just hoping there are no problems or postponements.... hopefully wil be ok, since he'll have Christmas to rest. Any news yet on him coming to Australia?

Hi, thanks for your message. Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip to Ft Lauderdale because of the economic problems here etc. I'm losing my job this week, so for the last few weeks I've been trying to find another job. Until that's sorted, I can't go anywhere! It was hard last week knowing I should have been there, but I have to get the job situation resolved. I'm sure one day I'll get to go and see him again though, somewhere! Hopefully He'll release the DVD soon, so I can at least watch that....

I got tickets to see him at Mohegan Sun in Connecticutt, on November 28th. Thanks for the well wishes, looks like they worked. Hope you get to see Neil too during this tour. I am positive he'll be making his way to you before too long. I wish you well.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I read somewhere that Neil is trying to arrange to tour down your way next year, so hopefully you'll get the chance to see him again. I'm really looking forward to Ft Lauderdale, as I'll get to visit the Everglades too and see the wildlife there. I'm just keeping everything crossed that the concert goes ahead and nothing goes wrong! Neil's had such an impact on my life lately, I'm listening to him every day on my way to/from work, and watching him on DVD every weekend, some weeknights too. I just can't get enough of him. His music really cheers me up if i'm tired or had a bad day. No other musician has ever had that effect on me! But Neil really makes me feel happy to be alive, no matter what else is going on! And seeing him live was a real honour. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for next year. If my finances allow, I might even pop over myself!!
