Being a schoolcounsellor I get to talk a lot with young people about life and the problems that they may experience in their lives. Often, their problems are huge. Music for me is the way to relax again.
(As does walking and go out or just having a good time with my family and friends). I love the songs of Neil; they have this great rhythm and lyrics. I also like The Killers, Muse, The Stones, Leonard Cohen and so many more; I'm even a fan of Bach!
But I love Neil's songs from the time I was a young girl; my mother and sister played his music and later I grabbed their LPs and took them to my room. So I practical grew up with his music and like many other people say: it were his songs that kept me company in times of love and heartburn, marriages and other big and less big moments.
I think it's great when you're able to move people with your music this much and for so long. Only great artists can.
So I just hope to hear and see more of his songs and performances!!

Being lost is worth the coming home
